Brush Fire Burns Half Acre in Trabuco Canyon

About 80 firefighters battled the blaze in the switchback area of the canyon.

Orange County firefighters battled a half-acre brush fire in Trabuco Canyon today.

The fire started about 11:10 a.m. and was contained about an hour later, Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Steve Hurdle said.

About 80 firefighters battled the blaze in the switchback area of the canyon, Hurdle said. How the fire started was not immediately known.
