Donations For Marines Urgently Sought By City: What To Know

The City of Rancho Santa Margarita issued a call-out for donations benefiting the city's adopted 2nd Battalion 5th Marines.

The City of Rancho Santa Margarita adopted the 2nd Battalion 5th Marines (2/5) on January 10, 2007, to support the Marines and their families on an ongoing basis, whether the unit is at Camp Pendleton or deployed.

Our Community Services Department works closely with the Deployment Readiness Coordinator year-round to coordinate volunteer assistance for events such as the City's Patriot Day Commemoration, the Battalion Holiday Party, barracks projects, homecomings, and other events and programs.

Your donation will further the mission of supporting our Marines and their families. Items may be dropped off at the Bell Tower Regional Community Center from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
