Give Blood, Get A Gift Card In RSM: April Blood Drives

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA — Are you looking to donate blood in Rancho Santa Margarita? The American Red Cross announced new incentives for residents who give the gift of blood in Orange County this April.

"The American Red Cross urges donors to give blood or platelets now to continue to strengthen the national blood supply," an American Red Cross news release read. "People of all blood types — especially those with type O blood — are critical to ensuring hospitals can meet the daily demand for lifesaving transfusions."

To encourage potential blood donors to make appointments, the Red Cross is entering all April blood donors in a chance to win $5,000. In addition, those who make donations from April 1 through April 13 will receive a $15 Amazon gift card.

Blood donors who make donations from April 14 through April 30 will receive an exclusive Red Cross t-shirt.
