Golf is supposed to be a game of gentlemen, but it took on a less gentlemanly tone Friday afternoon on some local links.

According to the blotter, one golfer said he was pushed by another golfer who was in his 60s—that was his age, not his score. He was wearing a tan hat, gray shirt and brown shorts—and apparently a frown.

When deputies arrived, the party decided he didn't want to file a report.

There was no further description of what caused the game to get out of hand, but it likely involved someone having a bad day on the green.
