He Didn't Go Missing On Purpose

All parks don't look alike, but they kinda do when considering one key landmark.

Everyone forgets where they left their keys at some point in their life.

But your husband?

According to the blotter of the Orange County Sheriff's Department, a woman visiting a friend in Rancho Santa Margarita on Monday did her 78-year-old husband a favor and dropped him off at a city park. Little did he know, she wasn't really doing him any favors. Not by a long shot.

After the woman finished with her visit, she went to retrieve her husband—only to forget which park she dropped him off at. She did know that the park had swings, but that only added to her confusion because all the parks have swings, she said.

The informant called back later to report she eventually found her man.

The original call was made Monday, 2:51 p.m., from Aliento.

This report was culled from the Orange County Sheriff's website. Not all facts in each report are made public; the outcome of the report, as well as the facts, may differ from the original blotter item. All items are alleged to have occurred. There should be no assumption of guilt based on this limited information.
