This incident would seem to be tailor-made for a country songwriter. It's apparently about love and heartbreak and running away and who knows, maybe "D-I-V-O-R-C-E." If only there was a train involved.
According to the blotter of the Orange County Sheriff's Department, a woman went to Police Services in Rancho Santa Margarita on Friday evening to say she couldn't find her husband and wanted to report him missing.Â
Upon further questioning, the woman admitted she and her husband had gotten into an argument two days earlier, and she had just now realized he had packed his things and left.
She indicated her husband was not at risk—though apparently the marriage is.
This report was culled from the Orange County Sheriff's website. Not all facts in each report are made public; the outcome of the report, as well as the facts, may differ from the original blotter item. All items are alleged to have occurred. There should be no assumption of guilt based on this limited information.Â
