Low Flying Helicopters? It Was Not An Attack

A couple of choppers get the attention of Rancho Santa Margarita area residents.

Everyone gets a little antsy when they see aircraft where they shouldn’t be, and so it was in Rancho Santa Margarita early Friday evening.

A caller reported seeing two helicopters that flew extremely low over Antonio Parkway and landed on the Tijeras Creek Golf Club. The informant was advised by her daughter that one of the choppers was inverted.

There was no cause for alarm that they were occupied by invading North Koreans.
