More Than 1,000 Drawn to Easter in the Park
First-ever Easter celebration at Central Park is popular as three churches combine resources.
For the first time Sunday, there was a church service celebrating Easter in Rancho Santa Margarita's Central Park.
More than 1,000 people showed up to the late-morning event, which was the combined effort of three churches, , , and His House in the Canyons.
Worshipers celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ withstood sunny skies that had many fanning themselves. A shaded area with limited seating was provided for older attendees.

Two messages were delivered, by pastors Ryan Oddo of The Bridge and Mike Beals from Mission Hills. There was also a special presentation for kids, who comprised a large part of the audience.
