New Candy Shop To Open Its Doors In South Orange County

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA — A well-loved chocolatier is opening its doors in Rancho Santa Margarita.

See's Candy will be opening a permanent location in the Rancho Santa Margarita Town Center, just across the street from City Hall, city officials said.

The candy shop will be located next to Handel's Ice Cream, in the old Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory location.

"When [See's] had their pop-up stores in Rancho Santa Margarita during the holidays, they did so well they wanted a permanent location," Mayor Jerry Holloway told Patch. "They are going through the permitting process right now."

While the plans for See's Candy to open are set in motion, the opening date has yet to be determined.
