Scooter Looter and Pals Knock Off A Mercedes

A Rancho Santa Margarita resident awoke in the wee hours Monday morning to a disturbance that didn't make her sleep any better. 

According to the blotter of the Orange County Sheriff's Department, some alleged thieves were spotted after the woman woke up; she said she saw three male subjects, believed to be juveniles, wearing dark hoodies inside her silver Mercedes Benz. 

The victim yelled at them and they scampered into the dark, running off down Alma Aldea. At least one of them was riding a Razor Scooter.

According to the woman, the boys made off with a credit card. 

The original call came from Koso Place on Monday, 2:27 a.m., but deputies learned there might have been an additional victim on Mohave.
