6 Teens Injured In RivCo Shooting, Police Say

Five of the teens suffered life-threatening injuries, according to police.

MORENO VALLEY, CA — Six teens were injured in an overnight shooting at a social gathering in Moreno Valley, according to police.

Deputies responded around 11 p.m. Saturday to a reported shooting in the 12000 block of Orchid Lane and found five male teens suffering from gunshot wounds near the Hemlock Avenue intersection, police said.

All five were taken to hospitals with life-threatening injuries, according to a news release from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office. A sixth teen arrived at a local hospital and was found to be connected to the incident, police said.

The victims ranged in age from 14-18 years, according to police.

Deputies were not able to find the shooters in the aftermath of the attack, police said.
