Annual Report Grades Cities' Efforts Against Tobacco
The American Lung Association tracks how municipalities battle against tobacco use in their areas.

The American Lung Association released its annual State of Tobacco Control report for California on Wednesday.Â
Eighteen municipalities in the state earned an A grade, with another 33 cities/counties earning a B, according to the report. Despite cities raising their grades in certain areas, nearly two-thirds of cities and counties still receive a failing grade in the report.
Among the cities to top the grades was Baldwin Park, which passed new smoke free housing ordinances in 2013.
