A chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties is touting half-day bus tours on Nov. 7 to "offer a private look at more than 60 leading industrial properties" in the Inland Empire, from Moreno Valley to Ontario.
Tickets are $25 to $100 if purchased before Oct. 31. The start and finish point for the tours is Cal Aero Aviation Country Club at Chino Airport. Organizers with NAIOP Inland Empire are planning two itineraries:
- A "West End" tour to show 32 projects in the Ontario, Fontana, Rialto and San Bernardino area
- An "East End" tour to 32 projects in the Riverside, Moreno Valley and Redlands area
Organizers say the properties on the tour range from 200,000 square feet to well over 1 million square feet.
"The annual bus tour is the chapter's most anticipated gathering that allows more than 250 brokers, investors, businesses and government officials throughout Southern California to see first-hand why the Inland Empire is setting the national standard for industrial development," tour organizers said in an announcement distributed Friday Oct. 25.
"With approximately 16 million square feet of speculative properties under construction and low vacancy rates, the Inland market is experiencing more industrial construction activity than most areas of the county. This event is a unique opportunity to see these pending projects and directly ask questions to developers and brokers," tour organizers said.
Box lunches and beverages will be provided on the bus tours. A reception is scheduled 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. to "allow attendees to enjoy complimentary hors d'oeuvres and beverages while networking with project representatives and top industry leaders," organizers said.
