Coroner's investigators have asked for public assistance to identify family of a man who died last month in the mountains north of Redlands and Loma Linda.
Peter Clarke, 62, died in a residence in the Green Valley Lake area on June 23, according to the coroner.
"He is believed to have been a resident of the Greenfield Massachusetts area, New York City/Long Island area, New Haven Connecticut area, and the state of New Hampshire," coroner's officials said in a statement.
Green Valley Lake is about 30 miles north of Redlands and Loma Linda, between Running Springs and Big Bear Lake.
Anyone with information about Clarke's family was urged to call the Coroner's Division at (909) 387-2978.
