A man's body was discovered Wednesday afternoon in the City Creek wash east of Albertsons in Highland, according to the Sheriff's Department.
Deputies responded at 3:45 p.m. July 31 to a report of a human body in the wash near Base Line and Boulder Avenue, Highland Station personnel said in a statement. The Albertsons is at 7201 Boulder Ave.
The deceased man in the wash was described at white or hispanic and estimated 45 to 55 years old.
"An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death, however foul play is not suspected," deputies said. Coronor's personnel were trying to identify the man.
