Dessert and Dialogue Hosts Redlands Humane Society Director
Learn about the Redlands Humane Society with Jan Orbaker from noon to 12:30 p.m. on April 10.

From the City of Redlands: Learn about the Redlands Humane Society with guest speaker Jan Orbaker at the Redlands Community Senior Center’s Dessert and Dialogue program from noon to 12.30 p.m. Monday, April 10.
Orbaker, director of the Redlands Humane Society, will talk about the organization and their animal adoption program. The Redlands Humane Society is an all-volunteer organization; they do not operate any shelter or kennel facilities and have no paid staff. Volunteer fosters take animals into their homes and care for them until they are adopted. They show animals available for adoption at Market Night in downtown Redlands on Thursday evenings. Orbaker will bring along some of their currently adoptable pets for her presentation.
Dessert and Dialogue is a free program open to the public that takes place after the senior nutritional lunch program at the Redlands Community Senior Center. Hot meals are served Monday - Friday from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The hot meals are open to all adults, a suggested donation of $3 is appreciated for those 60 or older, and guests under 60 can enjoy lunch for $6.
