Earthquake Near Redlands Shakes Parts Of Southern California

REDLANDS, CA— A magnitude 3.5 earthquake struck near Redlands around 11:30 a.m. Friday, according to the United States Geological Survey.

The quake was recorded at 11:27 a.m. New Year's Eve, about 2 miles from Redlands, and was felt in Loma Linda, Colton, Beaumont, Moreno Valley, Temecula and Palm Springs — almost 45 miles away from the epicenter, the USGS said.

No injuries or damages were immediately reported in the quake.
