A Highland man was found deceased in a residence south of the 210 Freeway in San Bernardino on Saturday, and police were investigating the death as a homicide.
Clarence Jerome Baines, 33, of Highland, was found dead about 4:44 p.m. May 18 in a vacant apartment in the 1400 block of East Date Street, coroner's personnel said in a statement.
San Bernardino police homicide detectives were investigating. Anyone with more information was urged to call (909) 384-5742.
