Loma Linda Men Accused of Burglarizing Redlands Boulevard Business

Two Loma Linda men were arrested Saturday on suspicion of burglarizing a business on Redlands Boulevard and possessing stolen property, according to the Sheriff's Department.

Deputies responded to an alarm at 2:43 a.m. June 1 at Priority Rehabilitation, 24519 Redlands Blvd., Loma Linda, and they found the door of the business kicked open, sheriff's personnel said in a statement.

No suspects were inside, but it was clear the business had been burglarized, deputies said. In a wash behind Priority Rehab, deputies found a backpack and a suitcase containing property allegedly stolen from the business.

William K. Andrews, 35, and Allen R. Boidya, 35, both residents of Loma Linda, were identified as suspects and contacted at their apartment on Poplar Street, deputies said.

More property allegedly stolen from Priority Rehab was inside the apartment, deputies said. In addition, a "large amount of stolen property from previous burglaries in Loma Linda was also recovered from the residence," deputies said.

Andrews and Boidya were arrested just after 6 a.m. Saturday. Deputies said Andrews was on AB109 release, and Boidya was on felony probation for theft and drug charges.

Andrews was released on bail early Sunday June 2. Boidya remained locked up Tuesday at Central Detention Center, where he was held without bail, according to inmate records.
