Residents Invited to be a Santa’s Elf to a Senior Citizen

The Santa's Elf to a Senior Program will make the seniors' of Redlands Christmas bright with a personalized gift.

This holiday, the Redlands Quality of Life Department’s Senior Services Division invites you to be Santa’s Elf to a senior citizen. This program collects Christmas gifts for senior citizens living in Redlands without anyone to look after or visit them. The Santa’s Elf to a Senior Program will make seniors’ Christmas bright with a personalized gift.

Individuals wishing to participate in this program may visit either the Redlands Senior Center or the Joslyn Senior Center from Wednesday, Nov. 23, through Monday, Dec. 12. Trees will be decorated with ornamental tags listing gift items for an anonymous male or female senior. Participants are asked to bring a wrapped gift along with the original ornament tag which will be used by senior center staff to match the gift with the appropriate recipient.
