A 3-year-old boy was found unresponsive in a pool at a home in San Bernardino and was pronounced deceased at a hospital Wednesday, according to the coroner.
Paramedics responded to a call about 9:55 a.m. Aug. 7 from a home in the 600 block of West 28th Street in San Bernardino.
Vincent Ortega, 3, of Highland, was "in full arrest and was being given CPR by family," coroner's personnel said in a statement. He was taken to St. Bernardine's Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 10:51 a.m. Wednesday.
An autopsy was scheduled to determine the exact cause of the boy's death.
