‘Tis (almost) the Season for the Christmas on Euclid Experience

For more than 100 years, Christmas on Euclid has transformed historic Euclid Avenue into a magical winter walkway

(ONTARIO, California) – Preparations are underway for one of the Inland Empire’s most enduring and cherished holiday traditions – the Christmas on Euclid Experience – returning this year with dazzling light displays, festive community gatherings, and the iconic 12-part Nativity scenes that have drawn visitors for generations.

For more than 100 years, Christmas on Euclid has transformed historic Euclid Avenue into a magical winter walkway filled with crafts, food, entertainment, and family-friendly holiday events. From the annual tree lighting and Holiday Light Parade to the 5K Reindeer Run, this year’s celebration promises to be bigger and brighter than ever.

At the heart of the Experience are the 12 near life-size Nativity scenes, originally crafted in 1958 by noted Los Angeles artist and sculptor Rudolph Vargas. Expanded to 12 scenes in 1976, the collection has been preserved, restored and displayed together every season from Thanksgiving through New Year’s Day. Continued restoration and upkeep remain an ongoing effort, and donations supporting preservation of the scenes are welcome through the Christmas on Euclid website.
