TORRANCE, CA — A South Korean bakery chain is giving away one million pastries to celebrate reaching its subscriber goal on its new rewards program, the company announced Wednesday.

Paris Baguette says it recently reached one million subscribers on its reward program that was revamped in 2024 and has decided to give a free pastry to every member on June 2, with the purchase of any item.

"The significant momentum we've seen with our PB Rewards program has been truly incredible, as we've nearly doubled our enrollment in less than a year," Director of Digital Marketing at Paris Baguette North America Brit Pyles said in a statement Wednesday. "We're incredibly proud to be a part of our guests' day – whether it's grabbing a morning coffee and pastry, enjoying an afternoon treat or sweetening a special occasion."
