BeachLife Festival 2022: The Smashing Pumpkins In Redondo (Photos)

REDONDO BEACH, CA — BeachLife Festival 2022 featured performances from legendary bands by the ocean, including The Smashing Pumpkins.

Saturday's lineup also featured a number of acts inspired by SoCal life, including Rita Wilson, Donovan Frankenreiter, Matisyahu, Art Alexakis of Everclear, Capital Cities, Charlotte Sabina, Phantom Planet, Stone Temple Pilots and Vance Joy.

The night ended with The Smashing Pumpkins. The South Bay stop was along the Pumpkins' first full North America tour since the pandemic, which started April 29 at the Beale Street Music Festival in Memphis, Tennessee.

The Pumpkins, Weezer and Steve Miller Band headlined the BeachLife Festival May 13 to 15 at 137 N. Harbor Drive, Redondo Beach.

Performances from Sheryl Crow, 311, Vance Joy, Black Pumas, Stone Temple Pilots, Lord Huron and more were included on four stages during the three-day event. The weekend also featured culinary experiences from top chefs in the region with a side stage experience that offers fine dining.
