Honey and Winston are two very sweet puppies who need loving homes.
Updated 7/25/2011: Honey and Winston have both been adopted, but many other dogs still need loving homes! Check out our previous dogs of the week.
Original story:
Honey, a 3-month-old terrier and chihuahua mix, and Winston, a 15-week-old beagle mix, are both sweet and loving puppies who need forever homes.

Honey won't grow to be too big in size, but she has a "big dog" feel in her small frame. She wants to please.
Before arriving at the Lovejoy Foundation, Honey was found abandoned in South Central Los Angeles.

Winston, who will grow to be about 25-30 pounds, loves to chase anything and everything that moves. He's very affectionate, and he has the cutest howl.
Winston was thrown out of a moving car on a highway on the way to Las Vegas and broke his leg. By the time he arrived at the Lovejoy Foundation, his leg had already set.
Both puppies would do well in a home with older kids and other dogs; because puppies will nip and bite at children's hands, they don't do well in households with children under the age of six. Their new owners would have to be patient, since Honey and Winston are young puppies!
Both puppies are on their way to being fully potty trained. They're both up-to-date on medical care, too.
