Ex-MLB Player Sells South Bay Home For $14.4M
The newly built estate was bought back in 2018 for $10.5 million, according to Zillow.
HERMOSA BEACH, CA — Former Cincinnati Reds All-Star Joey Votto has sold his South Bay home nearly seven years after first buying the newly built estate in 2018.
Kevin Pratt of Strand Hill Properties confirmed to Patch Tuesday that Votto sold his Hermosa Beach home.
Real estate marketplace Zillow shows, and a Los Angeles Times report states that Votto first bought the home when it had just been built in 2018 for $10.5 million.

The home was listed for sale in January. The property was then sold on July 31 for $14.4 million, according to Zillow. The home, which spans nearly 4,000 square feet, is three stories tall and sits just a few feet away from the beach, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Votto, 41, was in his 11th season with the Reds when he purchased the home. The former second-round pick and 2010 National League MVP retired in 2023.
