Fiesta Hermosa Celebration Returns To Beach Town Memorial Day Weekend

This year's three-day celebration will include a carnival, mercado (market) and food fair.

HERMOSA BEACH, CA — The annual Fiesta Hermosa event returns to one of the South Bay's most popular beach towns on Memorial Day weekend, promising three days of art and festivities.

The popular event has a storied 52-year history in Hermosa Beach, starting in the 70s as Fiesta de las Artes, a one-day event near The Strand celebrating artisan culture, according to the city's Chamber of Commerce. It later evolved into a two-day event and eventually, a three-day celebration with music and hundreds of booths and vendors.

Today, the Fiesta Hermosa is considered Southern California's largest beachside arts and crafts festival, according to organizers.
