Impulse Space Moves Headquarters To Redondo Beach, Prepares For Orbit

At the new Redondo Beach location, the company will continue its preparations for its first orbital mission set to take off later this year.

REDONDO BEACH, CA — Impulse Space — a leader in development of in-space transport services for the inner solar system — announced it would relocate its El Segundo headquarters to Redondo Beach on Tuesday.

At the new Redondo Beach location, the company will continue its preparations for its first orbital mission LEO Express-1 set to take off later this year. Impulse Space said the move was necessary to increase manufacturing and office space to address the business's growth.

“We had anticipated the need for much larger space to accommodate the equipment needed to support the vertically integrated product line that has been developed,” said Impulse Space COO Barry Matsumori. “This facility will support production capabilities ranging from development, build and test of propulsion systems, avionics development and production, and composite tank production and testing as elements of what will be done in the facility.”
