"The investigation revealed that the victims had been bound by the suspects inside their home for an extended period of time," police said.
REDONDO BEACH, CA — Two Redondo Beach residents were tied up in their own home by robbers from out of state, according to police.
Jesus Velez, 31, of Rochester, New York, and Draven Luna, 21, of New York City, were arrested on suspicion of robbery, burglary and kidnapping after the incident early Sunday morning, police said.
The investigation began shortly before 6 a.m., when officers responded to a report of a person pointing a gun at another person in a vehicle, according to police, who said the caller disconnected before providing a location but officers were able to trace the phone to the 1900 block of Mathews Avenue.
