Pedestrian Dies After Being Hit By Car In Torrance
A police lieutenant said the driver stopped and showed no signs of intoxication.
TORRANCE, CA — Police Monday were investigating the death of a pedestrian on Sepulveda Boulevard in Torrance.
The victim, a man of unknown age, was struck about 11:25 p.m. Sunday in the area of Border Avenue, according to the Torrance Police Department.
He was not in a crosswalk when he was hit.

Sepulveda Boulevard was initially shut down between Knode Street and Border Avenue and later between Border and Western avenues, a closure that lasted until 8:45 a.m. Monday, police said.
