Power Outage Hits El Nido Area
About five dozen customers are affected by the outage, according to Southern California Edison.
A power outage struck the El Nido area of North Redondo Beach at about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to Southern California Edison's online map of outages.
The outage, which was caused by extreme heat that damaged equipment, was affecting about 60 customers, according to the website's latest update at 1 a.m.
Crews are in the process of completing repairs, according to SCE. Power should be restored by 7 a.m.
