Redondo Beach Aquatics Center? Take The Beach Cities Survey

Beach Cities Health District invites the community to give feedback and take a survey on a potential aquatics facility in Redondo Beach.

REDONDO BEACH, CA — Beach Cities Health District is inviting the community to give their thoughts this weekend on a potential aquatics facility in Redondo Beach.

The possible aquatics center is part of the proposed Healthy Living Campus master plan with current plans for the site on North Prospect Avenue in Redondo Beach. The location plans include a 220-unit assisted living facility, medical office buildings, a community “Wellness Pavilion” and an enhanced health and fitness facility, which would include the potential aquatics center.

BCHD has retained Ballard*King & Associates (B*K) as an aquatic consultant to create the facility. The company is determining what should be included in an aquatic facility and considerations surrounding the costs associated with operating the facility.
