Golden Globes Winners: 2026 Complete List
"One Battle After Another" swept the film races, while "Hamnet" and "Adolescence" anchored the night's top drama and TV wins.

LOS ANGELES — The 83rd Golden Globe Awards on Sunday night burst to life with the kind of unpredictable, star-studded spectacle that has long made this Hollywood party its own brand of revelry.
Nikki Glaser set the tone early with a monologue that was at once wry, measured and perfectly attuned to the room’s champagne-tower exuberance — a swirl of glamour, anticipation and celebration that reverberates from table to table as stars sip Moët and nibble on Nobu sushi between applause and laughter.
From there, the ceremony moved briskly through a slate of closely watched categories, with a handful of films and series emerging as the night’s defining winners.

In the end, “One Battle After Another,” the most-nominated film with nine, proved the night’s dominant force, taking home four awards, including best picture, comedy or musical, and best director and screenplay for Paul Thomas Anderson. It also earned Teyana Taylor the Globe for best supporting actress.
“Hamnet” was named best motion picture, drama, a highlight of a night that also honored Jessie Buckley’s lead performance.

“Sinners” garnered two awards, including cinematic and box office achievement and best original score.
By contrast, “Sentimental Value,” which entered the night with eight nominations, collected only a single award, honoring Stellan Skarsgård for his supporting performance.
The acting races also brought their own Globes shimmer, with standout performances recognized across drama, comedy and supporting categories.
Timothée Chalamet claimed the night’s top comedy acting honor for “Marty Supreme,” while Rose Byrne added to the evening’s comedy winners with her performance in “If I Had Legs I’d Kick You.” In the drama field, Wagner Moura delivered one of the night’s more unexpected turns with a win for “The Secret Agent.”
The night’s other marquee film categories spread the wealth. “Kpop Demon Hunters” claimed best animated film, while “The Secret Agent” took the international feature prize.
This year also marked the debut of the Globes’ podcast category, a nod to the medium’s growing cultural footprint. Amy Poehler won the inaugural prize for “Good Hang with Amy Poehler.”
On the television side, the races were among the night’s most competitive, with several heavily nominated contenders in play.
“Adolescence” emerged as the night’s most recognized television program, collecting four Golden Globes, including best limited or anthology series and acting honors for Stephen Graham, Erin Doherty and Owen Cooper.
“The Pitt” had a solid showing on the television side, winning best drama series and earning a lead acting award for Noah Wyle.
“The Studio” took home best comedy series and earned a lead acting honor for Seth Rogen.
Other acting honors went to Rhea Seehorn for “Pluribus,” Jean Smart for “Hacks” and Michelle Williams for “Dying for Sex.”
As the ceremony wrapped, the Globes stood once more as a bellwether of awards season, sending the night’s film winners toward the Oscars with renewed momentum. The TV honorees, meanwhile, extended their own awards-season momentum, cementing their standing in the year’s cultural conversation.
