Redondo Beach Celebrates Completion Of Pier Skate Park Mural
Join Redondo Beach in celebrating art, community and the city's vibrant energy at the ribbon cutting for new mural "Skate Waves."
REDONDO BEACH, CA — Redondo Beach is celebrating the completion of the new public art mural "Skate Waves" at the Pier Skate Park with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Jan. 29.
Artist Andy Jenkins sought to capture the energy and flow of Redondo Beach's local skate culture mixed with the ocean vibes synonymous with the city. The mural was completed in October 2024.
City officials are celebrating the new addition to the pier as well as upgrades to the International Boardwalk at the celebration starting at 1 p.m.
