Signal Outage Causing Traffic At South Bay Intersection

HERMOSA BEACH, CA — A traffic light outage is causing a jam in Hermosa Beach Thursday morning, according to authorities.

Hermosa Beach officials warned drivers through an alert just before 4 a.m. that traffic lights at Artesia Boulevard and Pacific Coast Highway were out.

The lights were still out as of 7:42 a..m. and heavy traffic was beginning to form around the area, according to the alert.

Officials are recommending people avoid the area for the time being and take alternative routes in the meantime.
