Traffic Congestion Reported In Redondo Beach

Authorities are warning drivers to avoid heavy traffic.

REDONDO BEACH, CA — Authorities Thursday are warning drivers about traffic congestion in the Redondo Beach area.

Drivers were urged to avoid the traffic in the areas of Ripley Avenue and Lilienthal Lane, near Adams Middle School, according to Redondo Beach Police Department.

Officials also told drivers to find alternative routes near the area of Diamond Street, between Prospect Avenue and Pacific Coast Highway, along with other streets in and around Redondo Union High School.

"Traffic should return to normal by 6 p.m.," officials said.
