$11K Peninsula Bitcoin ATM Burglary Under Investigation

An employee who came to work around 9 a.m. noticed the two front doors unsecured, police said.

DALY CITY, CA — A Peninsula liquor store burglary last week resulted in a loss of more than $11,000, authorities said.

The burglary of Punj Liquor at 242 Skyline Plaza occurred at around 4:20 a.m. Dec. 7 Daly City police said.

Thieves got away with $10,900 from a RocketCoin Bitcoin ATM that was forced open, and also took $500 from a cash register, police said.

Officers at around 9:15 a.m. responded to the location.
