2 Pedestrians Injured After Being Hit By Vehicle In Redwood City: PD
Two pedestrians were injured after being hit by a vehicle in Redwood City, police said.
REDWOOD CITY, CA — Two people were hit by a vehicle while walking through the crosswalk at the intersection of Harrison Avenue and Duane Street in Redwood City on Thursday morning, according to a press release from Redwood City Police Department.
The victims, an adult and a juvenile female, were taken to the hospital with moderate injuries. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
The incident location is near both North Star and MIT schools.

"This incident should be a reminder to all community members that school is back in session and to be particularly careful around schools during drop off and pick up times," said Redwood City Police Department Captain Ashley Osborne in the press release.
Redwood City Police Department Traffic Unit plans to increase enforcement at Redwood City schools in the coming weeks, according to the press release.
