REDWOOD CITY, CA — An East Palo Man wanted in connection with recent prowling and burglary cases was arrested Monday, according to investigators.

The Redwood City Police Department allege the same man was responsible for a Feb. 10 prowling case on Harrison Avenue and an evening house burglary reported on Valota Road. Investigators identified a suspect in the crimes and shared the information with neighboring agencies.

On Monday, police said a sheriff's deputy encountered the suspect on the 800 block of Walnut Street. Officials alleged the man had recently tried to break into a home nearby, and the deputy recognized him from the cases in Redwood City.
