Artists To Share Renderings Of Redwood City Racial Equity Mural
The mural will be located at the central Jefferson underpass and explore Redwood City's commitment to racial equity.
REDWOOD CITY, CA — The Redwood City community will have a chance on Wednesday to preview potential art that will be displayed on the city’s Racial Equity Mural.
The mural project was introduced in 2020 following the racial justice protests, with the city allocating $100,000 toward it. The mural will be located at the central Jefferson underpass and explore Redwood City’s commitment to racial equity and social justice issues.
At the meeting, the artists will present their completed rendering and share it with the Racial Equity Mural Committee. The committee and the public will be able to view and provide feedback on the works.
