Bay Cities FC To Host Tryouts In Redwood City
The new professional soccer club is hosting tryouts at Sequoia High School on Saturday for its women's team.
REDWOOD CITY, CA — Bay Cities FC, a new professional soccer club based in Redwood City, will host its first on-site activity of the 2022 season on Saturday.
The club will host tryouts for its women’s USL W team at Redwood City Sequoia High School from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Around 20 players are expected to show up for tryouts, according to the team.
The club is encouraging fans and community members to attend the tryouts and watch the game.

Bay Cities FC, San Mateo County’s first professional sports team, will play home matches at Sequoia High School's 3,500-seat stadium in downtown Redwood City.
Organizers said the club's goal is to sign and grow players between the ages of 16 and 18 by giving them the opportunity to play with professionals and speed their development.
