Brown Bag Lunch Celebrates RWC's Diversity

Grab your lunch and join fellow Redwood City residents at the main library on Thursday at noon.

The City of Redwood City will host a community brown bag lunch Thursday to celebrate the city's diversity and showcase a new exhibit, "Faces of Our Community." 

Brown Bag Lunch 
Thursday, November 21, 2013 12pm - 1pm 
Redwood City Library, Community Room

The event, Redwood City Together, an initiative of Redwood City 2020, will:

  • Celebrate Redwood City's rich diversity
  • Develop genuine curiosity about other community members' lives, perspectives and experiences
  • Understand our common goals and values
  • Showcase Redwood City Together's "Faces of Our Community" portraits and Sequoia High School Immigrant Youth Action Team's "My Life in 6 Words" art pieces 
Attendees will engage in genuine dialogue about the complexity and diversity that make Redwood City a great community. Light refreshments will be provided. Please fee free to bring your own lunch.
