Children's Holiday Gift Program Seeks Donations For Peninsula Kids
San Mateo County is inviting neighbors to participate in a holiday gift-giving program to deliver presents to thousands of kids this year.

SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — San Mateo County is inviting neighbors to grab a few items of the wishlist this holiday season to ensure there are presents under the tree for thousands of children on the Peninsula.
The San Mateo Children's Fund's holiday gift program reaches an estimated 3,500 children each year, serving low-income and foster kids, from newborns to older teens. Over the next few weeks, neighbors have a chance to spread holiday cheer and purchase gifts that will be delivered directly to the program's warehouse to be delivered to children across the county.
Residents can browse the program's Amazon wishlist and select gifts from essentials like clothing to toys that will brighten a child's day. The list includes information about how many of each item is needed, and any items purchased will help the program reach its goal.
