Christmas Comes a Bit Early for Some RWC Kids

Over the next three nights, Santa, along with officers from the Redwood City police and fire departments and sheriff's deputies will distribute toys and books to needy families.

Beginning tonight, and continuing into the evenings of Thursday, December 19th and Friday, December 20th, the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office Community Policing unit in partnership with the Redwood City Police and Fire Departments will be dispersing approximately 12,000 books and toys to over 500 families in North Fair Oaks and Redwood City. 

Each evening, between 6:00pm – 9:00pm teams of representatives from all three agencies will make their way with Santa to homes of deserving children whose families applied to be a part of the program.
