City Manager Receives $11.8K Raise
City Manager Bob Bell received the raise a little more than a year on the job.

The city council Monday night granted the city manager a 4 percent raise, or $11,861 more in salary and benefits per fiscal year, based on a performance evaluation in April.
The raise brings City Manager Bob Bell’s salary to $223,476, or 3.74 percent above the market media of comparable city manager salaries, according to a survey conducted in March.
The city in April 11, 2011, after he had been serving as interim city manager once then city manager in November 2010.

Since becoming city manager, Bell and the city staff successfully with several bargaining groups in Redwood City to save the city $5.6 million.
