Cop Assaulted Amid Peninsula Pursuit
A 15-year-old San Francisco boy was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, among other charges, police said.
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A juvenile accused of assaulting an officer amid a pursuit early Tuesday afternoon has been arrested, South San Francisco police said.
The 15-year-old San Francisco boy was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, evading police and possession of a stolen vehicle and was booked into Hillcrest Juvenile Hall, police said.
The officer was not injured, police said.

Two occupants of vehicles that were struck during a collision amid the pursuit were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Officers at around 12:40 p.m. Tuesday attempted to stop a suspect stolen vehicle at the intersection of Radburn and King drives when the driver intentionally rammed the vehicle into the police vehicle and fled, police said.

Officers terminated a subsequent pursuit due to the risk to public safety as a result of the suspect's reckless driving, police said.
Officers around two hours later located the vehicle in the 200 block of South Airport Boulevard and initiated another pursuit that was terminated when the suspect started droving the wrong way on city streets.
After the pursuit was terminated, the suspect continued to drive recklessly for approximately 3/4 of a mile and caused a collision with multiple vehicles within the San Francisco International Airport's jurisdiction.
The suspect fled from the collision on foot and was apprehended a short distance away without incident.
