Upscale Peninsula Jewelry Store Burglarized

Responding deputies found merchandise missing, but the extent of the San Carlos store's loss isn't yet known.

SAN CARLOS, CA — A designer Peninsula jewelry store was burglarized early Wednesday morning, the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.

Deputies at around 4:40 a.m. responding Gordon Aatlo Designs on a report of a burglary alarm found evidence of forced entry to the business, but the extent of the store’s loss isn’t yet known, the Sheriff’s Office said.

“There is currently no suspect information at this time,” the Sheriff’s Office said.
