Expand Your Mind, Horizons With 'Next Big Thing'

REDWOOD CITY, CA -- It's not your grandfather's science fair. The San Mateo County Office of Education expands on the traditional fair to celebrate learning across the county at The Next Big Think event scheduled for Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the San Mateo County Event Center.

This year’s event is located in the center's Fiesta Hal at 1346 Saratoga Dr. in San Mateo will include:

· The San Mateo County STEM Fair – 250 STEM fair projects will on display
· The Art Expo – Student visual and performing art, including over 1,000 works of art
· Districts Showcase – Innovative learning highlights from school districts across the county
· Hackathon
· Makerspace

All are welcome to join the fun and learn something new while celebrating learning across San Mateo County.
