WOODSIDE, CA — The Green Gables Estate, one of Silicon Valley's most historic mansions located in Woodside, has been sold for $85 million, according to a report by The Mercury News.
The 74-acre property, built in 1911 for industrialist Mortimer Fleishhacker, has remained in the family for six generations. It features seven separate residences, boasting a total of 34 bedrooms and 26 bathrooms across 23,900 square feet. The highlight of the estate is an English-style residence, complete with a 100-yard Roman pool.
The property also features six additional structures: an equestrian barn, pools, tennis courts, and a dairy.

The English-inspired estate has a rich history, having hosted significant figures and events, such as the United Nations 20th-anniversary gala. Reports also indicate that Elizabeth Holmes, the disgraced founder of Theranos, resided in one of the homes during her 2021 criminal trial.
