Friday's incident began just hours after the Irish Fire that ignited Thursday near Tunitas Creek, which was extinguished with help from a joint aerial and ground attack. Cal Fire officials said both incidents were a reminder that California is at the height of fire season and encouraged everyone to report all smoke and potential fires as soon as possible.
